Pueblo County has gone 8-2 against Pueblo Centennial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Hornets will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pueblo County has six straight victories, Pueblo Centennial has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Pueblo County had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt La Junta on Thursday. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Hornets have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
