The Christian Academy Saints will be playing at home against the Wilson Hall Barons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Wilson Hall will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Christian Academy strolled past Pee Dee Academy with points to spare, taking the game 30-12.
Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Payton Rumley led the charge by scoring eight points along with 15 rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Belle Jackson, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, Wilson Hall's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Cardinal Newman 53-49.
Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Wilson Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Wilson Hall in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, but they still walked away with a 50-44 win.
