Sheyenne put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They put a hurting on Fargo South to the tune of 47-7. Sheyenne were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win was the 8th in a row for Sheyenne raised their record to 8-1. This is the second loss in a row for Fargo South and nudges their record down to 5-4.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Next week Sheyenne will take on Legacy at 7:00 PM. Legacy took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Sheyenne's good fortune. As for Fargo South, they will go up against Century. Fargo South's defense better steel itself: Century are averaging 35.67 points per game.
