Meanwhile, Addenbrooke Classical Academy came tearing into Wednesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 70-44 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-17.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy's win came from a few key players Loveland Classical will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Joseph Wingrove, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. He also grabbed six steals, which is notable because Addenbrooke Classical Academy is undefeated when he posts at least three steals, but 8-9 otherwise. Diego Jaramilio was another key player, going 7-for-16 on his way to 17 points and eight boards.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

Loveland Classical's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.7 points. As for Addenbrooke Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Everything came up roses for Loveland Classical against Addenbrooke Classical Academy when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 56-28 victory.
