The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Evanston in their matchups with Central: they've now lost four in a row.
Karson Tempel continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The matchup was Tempel's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Taylin Wade, who scored ten points along with six steals.
Evanston's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Evanston and Sheridan will face off on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sheridan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Evanston in Wyoming (Sheridan is ranked eighth, while Evanston is ranked 64th). Central won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Rock Springs on January 6th.
