The Mount Juliet Golden Bears's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Lebanon Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Mount Juliet will be strutting in after a win while Lebanon will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Monday, Mount Juliet narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Smyrna 47-45. The victory was just what Mount Juliet needed coming off of a 63-34 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Lebanon, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-37 loss to Blackman last Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Lebanon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Blackman is ranked 63rd).
Mount Juliet's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Lebanon, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
