Walters has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Dibble Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, Walters rose to the challenge on Friday. They secured a 18-12 W over Mooreland.
Meanwhile, Dibble entered their tilt with Cashion with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Dibble blew past Cashion, posting a 72-26 win at home. Considering Dibble has won nine games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jag Norman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 247 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Norman is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season. Trey Ott was in the mix too, providing Dibble with two touchdowns.
Walters has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which somehow isn't as good as their 8-2-1 record this season. As for Dibble, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Walters skirted past Dibble 22-20 when the teams last played back in September of 2021. Will Walters repeat their success, or does Dibble have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
