Forreston has gone a perfect 3-0 against Genoa-Kingston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Forreston will host Genoa-Kingston at 4:30 p.m. Forreston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Forreston's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Braddock.

Brendan Greenfield made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Greenfield was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Kendall Erdmann was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 23 runs the game before, Genoa-Kingston was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 11-1 to Plainfield East.

Forreston has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Genoa-Kingston now has a losing record of 2-3.

Forreston was able to grind out a solid victory over Genoa-Kingston in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 8-3. Will Forreston repeat their success, or does Genoa-Kingston has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
