It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Maysville Warriors had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Bison by a score of 67-59. The victory was just what Maysville needed coming off of a 62-38 defeat in their prior match.
When it comes to explaining why Oklahoma School for the Deaf lost, one person who can't be blamed is RyJan Reininger. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 33 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reininger has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Landen Fewel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Maysville's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-5.
Maysville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oklahoma School for the Deaf also has no future games currently scheduled.
