The Fairless Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Dalton Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Last Wednesday, Fairless was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-42 to Canton South. Fairless has struggled against Canton South recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Dalton had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Rittman 48-11 at home on Thursday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Dalton has managed all season.
Fairless now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Dalton, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.
Fairless might still be hurting after the 47-22 defeat they got from Dalton in their previous meeting back in December of 2019. Can Fairless avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
