The Baker County Wildcats stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Clay 54-34. The win was familiar territory for Baker County who now have seven in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Baker County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zaniah Blake, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Yamise Haygood, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
Baker County's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Clay, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.
Baker County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Rickards at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th. Rickards presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Baker County in Florida (Rickards is ranked 49th, while Baker County is ranked 237th). Clay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
