The Vassar Vulcans lost against the Reese Rockets back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Vassar received a tough blow as they fell 60-46 to Reese.
When it comes to explaining why Vassar lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryce Brown. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Madix Gorleski, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Vassar's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Reese, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Vassar will head out on the road to take on Caro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Caro presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Vassar in Michigan (Caro is ranked 285th, while Vassar is ranked 639th). As for Reese, they will be playing at home against Bad Axe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
