Mediapolis entered their tilt with Danville on Thursday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They never let the Bears get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Mediapolis pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Danville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
