While Wes-Del put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Union County. The Warriors blew past the Patriots, posting an 83-0 win. That looming 83-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

One reason for the win was Wes-Del's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. It was truly a group effort as Connor Johnson, Elijah Durr, and Luke Powers picked up two apiece. Ryan Hyre got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Wes-Del and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for Union County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wes-Del will challenge Cambridge City Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Golden Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 76.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Union County, they will take on Tri at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
