Make it 12 blowout wins for the Northeastern Knights this season. They took their match on the road on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 54-19 win over Winchester Community. The victory was nothing new for Northeastern as they're now sitting on four straight.
Northeastern's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adysson Kircher, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Kircher has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addisen Mastriano, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Northeastern pushed their record up to 16-6 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.11 points. As for Winchester Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
Northeastern will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cambridge City Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. Cambridge City Lincoln will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 401st, while Northeastern is ranked 144th). As for Winchester Community, they will square off against Muncie Burris at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
