While it was all tied up 18-18 at halftime, the Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles were not quite the Montgomery Catholic Knights's equal in the second half on Tuesday. Booker T. Washington received a tough blow as they fell 44-27 to Montgomery Catholic. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Booker T. Washington has scored all season.
KeAundra Tatum and Tylizea Sanders certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Tatum scored eight points along with 17 rebounds, while Sanders scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals. Tatum hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games.
Booker T. Washington has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Montgomery Catholic, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.
Booker T. Washington will head out on the road to square off against LAMP at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. LAMP is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Montgomery Catholic will take on Bullock County at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Bullock County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 386th, while Montgomery Catholic is ranked 142nd).
