It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fredericktown had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  57-29 victory over the Columbus Academy Vikings. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Freddies.

  Cally Carpenter continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  going 6 of 15  to rack up 24 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals. She has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last ten times she's  played.  Elizabeth Swartzentruber also deserves some recognition as  she  scored her first  points of the season.
Fredericktown pushed their record up to 18-4 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 50.8 points over those games. As for Columbus Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-12.
 Coming up, Fredericktown will be playing at home against Madison Plains  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Columbus Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
