Faustina Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kristen Rohter, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Grace Denny was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Lakewood Presbyterian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Maya Kinson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zoeh Kinson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
The victory makes it two in a row for Faustina Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Faustina Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Trinity Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 23.4 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them.
