West Salem is 6-1 against North Salem since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Salem Titans will be playing at home against the North Salem Vikings at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
West Salem fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-14 win over McNary. The result was nothing new for West Salem, who have now won three matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.
West Salem relied on the efforts of Ian Herber, who rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and Kaden Martirano, who threw for 199 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.
Meanwhile, North Salem strolled past Sprague with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 47-28.
Their wins bumped West Salem to 3-4 and North Salem to 5-2.
West Salem might still be hurting after the 31-6 loss they got from North Salem when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Will West Salem have more luck at home instead of on the road?
