Milford extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 12-7 in the process. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Little Miami Panthers. Jake Dixon and David Kittrell did some serious damage despite the final result: Dixon went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI, while Kittrell went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Jake McGrath was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
As for Little Miami, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games.
