Despite the loss, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas saw an underclassman step up: Clinton Ezugha scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Ezugha has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jayden Aranas, who scored six points along with three steals.
The Meadows School was led to victory by Jeremiah Toby and Cyrus Hutchison. Toby scored 15 points along with three steals, while Hutchison scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Fink, who scored five points along with six assists and two steals.
Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for The Meadows School, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
