Liberal had won two straight games and Braylen Frieden did her part to make it three on Monday. The Bulldogs blew past the Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers 3-0 with plenty of help from Frieden, who had 18 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-10.

Despite the loss, Jefferson Independent Day still got an impressive performance from Morgan Shifferd, who had 17 digs.

Liberal's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Jefferson Independent Day, they moved to 16-8-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Liberal wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Midway on the 14th. As for Jefferson Independent Day, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Golden City on the 16th.
