In what's become a running theme this season, Franklin County gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-4 margin over the Henry Clay Blue Devils. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Franklin County.
 Franklin County got a great performance from  Kelly Wiard as she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over 6.2 innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Carlie Olds, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aaliyah Tillman, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Franklin County now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Henry Clay, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin County will take on Conner at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Conner is coming into the  contest with three straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Franklin County will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win. As for Henry Clay, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Ryle at 1:00  p.m.
