The Rosedale Christian Academy Rosedale Panthers were the 54-53 winner over the Springdale Prep Lions when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Rosedale Christian Academy received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 83-66 to Springdale Prep. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Springdale Prep to victory were Tarkan Bahcivanci and N'Faba Mane. Bahcivanci scored 23 points along with 5 steals, while Mane dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds. Bahcivanci continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. D'yan Carter was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Rosedale Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Springdale Prep, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosedale Christian Academy will take on Tri-State Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tri-State Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. Springdale Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against McLean at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st. McLean is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
