The Vincennes Lincoln Alices were the 61-44 winner over the Princeton Tigers when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Vincennes Lincoln fell to Princeton 53-48.
Princeton found their leader in underclassman Mallory Watt, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Lexi Smith was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Vincennes Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Princeton, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vincennes Lincoln is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Evansville Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Princeton, they will square off against Washington at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
