  Carson Russell was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Noah Grimm, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Melba beat North Star 5-1  on Tuesday.

 Cole Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-6-1. As for Melba, their win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 9-10.
