Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Camren Phillips stepped things up a notch to give Life Oak Cliff the 'W'. Phillips threw for 361 yards and six TDs while picking up 15.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 107 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. The performance marked the most passing yards he has had since back in October of 2024.

Phillips and Life Oak Cliff will challenge Carter-Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. The Lions got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles thanks in part to Phillips: he threw for 352 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.
