The Maclay Marauders were the 59-52 winner over the Rickards Raiders when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Maclay received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 51-32 to Rickards.
Several Marauders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avery Coffin, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keller Bridges, who scored 6 points.
Maclay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Rickards, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maclay won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Madison County at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Rickards, they will be playing at home against Crossroad Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
