Newton's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Woodville, their loss dropped their record down to 13-15.
Things could have been worse for Newton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-40 loss to the Eagles in their previous matchup back in January. Can Newton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
