Christ Prep Academy's Will Cook rumbled for the longest rushing play in Midwest Christian this season in his game against Jayhawk Linn last week. Cook scampered for 60 yards on the play and finished with 146 on the day as his team defeated the Jayhawks.
Christ Prep Academy took down Jayhawk Linn 37-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tanner Metzdorf threw for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 83 yards in the win.
Jim Cook's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Cook contributed 146 yards. Isaac Smith helped Christ Prep Academy's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 29 yards.
Gabe Jones was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Patriots topped Spencer Brown's team. The 5-foot-6 sophomore pulled down 1 interception.
