Lewisburg stacked  a  12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past the Oxford Chargers 17-7. Winning may never get old, but Lewisburg sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
  Leah Walker made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over five innings pitched. Walker has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Walker was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kara Walker, who  went 3-for-4 with two  triples, five  RBI,  and two  runs. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Leona Klaire Stokes, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 On Oxford's side,  Addy Shorter made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and a  run.  MC King was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Lewisburg has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record  this season. As for Oxford,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-15.
 Lewisburg will be playing at home against Tupelo at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Lewisburg's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9  runs per game  this season, so Tupelo's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Oxford, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Germantown at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Germantown knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Oxford likes a good challenge.
