Head-Royce was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lick-Wilmerding on Tuesday. The Jayhawks were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Tigers. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Jayhawks considering their two-run performance the game before.

Head-Royce is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
