Bishop Watterson is  a perfect 10-0 against St. Francis DeSales since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court  against the Stallions  at 6:30  p.m. Bishop Watterson will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Wednesday, Bishop Watterson made easy work of Dublin Jerome  and carried off  a  3-0 victory.
 Bishop Watterson was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18,  25-21.

Bishop Watterson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Maddie Lane, who  had six  aces and five  digs. Those  six  aces gave  Lane a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashley Moreland, who  had 14  digs and one  assist.
 They weren't the only good servers: Bishop Watterson  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 11  aces. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, St. Francis DeSales suffered their biggest  loss since September 10th on Monday. They came up short against  Dublin Scioto, falling  3-0. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Irish: they've now lost four in a row.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17,  25-16.
 The  victory  got Bishop Watterson back to even at 8-8. As for St. Francis DeSales, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
 Bishop Watterson took their  win against St. Francis DeSales  when the teams last played  on September 10th by a conclusive  3-0 score. Do  the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stallions turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
