The Logansport Berries will be taking part in a tournament against the Caston Comets  at 8:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Hopefully Logansport focused on turnovers this week  as the team gave up 14 on Wednesday.
 Logansport is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They took a  blow against Peru, falling  71-42. The Berries haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
  Logan Lange put forth a good effort for the losing side as  he  had ten points. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  assists (three). Another player making a difference was  RJ Clem, who  posted six points along with seven  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Logansport  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Peru only pulled down four.
 Meanwhile, Caston  took care of business in their home opener  on Tuesday (and then some). They breezed by Lakeland Christian Academy to the tune of  85-48.
 Caston's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Lane Hook, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 11  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Logan Mollenkopf, who  went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points plus six  rebounds and four  steals.
