Tamarac waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They never let the Emma Willard Jesters get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 last Tuesday.

Kenlyn Ferris was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Ferris was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mihaly Blake, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Cameron McClurg also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Tamarac always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Emma Willard only posted an OBP of .062.

Tamarac pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 9.9 runs this season. As for Emma Willard, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Tamarac will head out to take on Mechanicville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Emma Willard, they will be playing at home against Waterford-Halfmoon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Fordians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15 runs per game on average), something the Jesters will no doubt try to take advantage of.
