Tri-Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Monticello Sages get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Vikings have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Tri-Valley's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Alexander, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Cade Danko was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.6 runs this season. As for Monticello, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Looking ahead, Tri-Valley will welcome Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monticello, they are taking a road trip to square off against Prairie Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Sages their first taste of in-conference action this season.
