Chandler John was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. John was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Andi Mixer was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
