Riverbend suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 57-33 walloping at the hands of Massaponax. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Riverbend has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Hannah Alexander, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Olivia Long was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Mountain View were a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 61-15 loss at the hands of Massaponax. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mountain View in their matchups with Massaponax: they've now lost nine in a row.
Riverbend's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
