Atlantic Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against King's Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars will square off against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Atlantic Christian took a 15-run defeat the last time they faced off against The Christian Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against The Christian Academy on Friday, sneaking past 12-11. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on five straight.

Ava Nixon spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and eight unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 15 Ks. Those 15 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Atlantic Christian let Taylor Sutton and Ashlee Alford run wild. Sutton got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Alford went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases Alford has posted since back in May of 2024. Rielly Kisielewski also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, King's Christian never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over The Pilgrim Academy. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Bridet Levandoski made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
In other batting news, Ava Garcia and Ada PIckard did most of the damage at the plate: Garcia went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double, while PIckard went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Lily Welsh, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
King's Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
King's Christian pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Atlantic Christian, their record now sits at 6-3.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Atlantic Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. However, it's not like King's Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .497. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Atlantic Christian skirted past King's Christian 5-4 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
