Trinity will be up against a hot Cuyahoga Heights team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Red Wolves' way against Brooklyn on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-1 victory. Considering the Red Wolves have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Brianna Kevern made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Kevern was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Paige Stoltz was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Aly Williams was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs.
Cuyahoga Heights always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .784. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity). They were the clear victors by a 27-19 margin over Lawrence Upper on Tuesday. Considering the Trojans' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Kanora Bryant was incredible, going 3-for-6 with five runs, seven RBI, and two stolen bases. Those RBI were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Trinity Johnson, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI.
Cuyahoga Heights' record is now 7-4. As for Trinity, their record now sits at 2-3.
Trinity's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cuyahoga Heights hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .328. It's a different story for Trinity, though, as they've only averaged .211. Will they be able to contain Cuyahoga Heights' hitters?
