 On St. John Lutheran's side,  Luis Roman was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Roman has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Roman was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Roman wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Adam Stillwell, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Oasis Christian has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record  this season. As for St. John Lutheran, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-3.
