The Weatherford Kangaroos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 67-31 defeat at the hands of Boswell. Weatherford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.
Boswell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Camille Williams out in front who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Williams hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Sydney Durrah was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Weatherford bumped their record down to 14-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Boswell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.
Weatherford will head out on the road to square off against Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boswell, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crowley at 6:30 p.m. Crowley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 76th, while Boswell is ranked tenth).
