 Anclote started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20,  15-10.
Anclote's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Gulf, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
 Coming up, Anclote will take on Tarpon Springs at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Gulf, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  2-0  win against Fivay on the 27th.
