Uniontown hasn't had much luck against West Mifflin recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Red Raiders will welcome the Titans at 4:15 p.m. The last three games Uniontown has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Uniontown took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They skirted past Belle Vernon 6-5.

Emmaleigh Noah was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Juliet White, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alexa Budner, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, West Mifflin was able to grind out a solid victory over Belle Vernon on Wednesday, taking the game 9-4.
RYLIE DOBNAK spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks.
At the plate, MIA BEY was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of KALEIGH TATTERS, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
West Mifflin is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Uniontown, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
