The Parkside Rams won the last time they faced the Pocomoke Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Parkside took their game at home with ease, bagging a 70-26 win over Pocomoke. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Parkside.
Parkside was led to victory by Zion Oge and Talayah Clark. Oge dropped a double-double on 11 points and 22 rebounds, while Clark scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie White, who scored 13 points.
Pocomoke's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddie Esham, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Parkside's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.7 points. As for Pocomoke, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Parkside will head out on the road to face off against Wicomico at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Wicomico focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday. As for Pocomoke, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
