Baseball Recap: Panther Creek Has No Trouble Against South Garner

Panther Creek not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 27th. They put the hurt on the South Garner Titans with a sharp 9-3 win. That's more bragging rights for the Catamounts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Panther Creek got a big performance out of Eli Doucette, who scored two runs and stole three bases. Those three stolen bases gave Doucette a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Justin Nichols, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Panther Creek's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for South Garner, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Coming up, Panther Creek will head out to take on Apex Friendship at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Garner, they will take on Brunswick at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
