It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cartersville had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Blessed Trinity Titans. The  win was nothing new for the Hurricanes as they're now sitting on 16 straight.
Leading Cartersville to victory were  Sydney Seigler and  Aubree Barrett.  Seigler  had four  aces and three  digs, while  Barrett  had 13  assists and three  aces. Seigler is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
 They weren't the only good servers: Cartersville  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 13  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blessed Trinity only  served seven.
 Despite the  defeat, Blessed Trinity had strong showings from  Ruby McDermott, who  had ten  digs and five  assists, and  Zoe Woodward, who  had nine assists and two  aces.
Cartersville's victory bumped their record up to 44-6. As for Blessed Trinity,  with the  loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 35-11.
 Cartersville has already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  defeat against Pace Academy on the 25th. Blessed Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
