 Last Friday, Coronado got the win against Clark  by a conclusive  13-3. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Coronado.
  Hudson Inouye looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 At the plate, Coronado got a big performance out of  Michael Cortez, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.  Louis Dion was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Spring Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. Their  rough  8-1 loss to Sierra Vista  might stick with them for a while.
 Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Spring Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
 Everything went Coronado's way against Spring Valley in their previous matchup  back in March of 2023 as Coronado made off with  a  15-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coronado since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
