Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Oswego East

Oswego East entered their tilt with Glenbard West on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Hilltoppers 14-6. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Danielle Stone was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Olivia Owles was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Oswego East kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Oswego East's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Glenbard West, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Oswego East has already played their next game, a 12-11 win against Crystal Lake Central on the 2nd. As for Glenbard West, they will take on Highland Park at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. The Giants have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.79 runs per game on average), something the Hilltoppers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
