Despite the defeat, South Bend Clay had strong showings from Tyrese Jones, who scored nine points along with five assists and four blocks, and Brad Hicks, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Jones posted two or more blocks. Ryan Harris was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Leading Mishawaka Marian to victory were Zion Rhoades and William Owens. Rhoades scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Owens scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Paxan Sullivan, who scored 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
